For our 2023-24 competition year we will be holding twelve evenings of competitions plus one End-of-Year competition. On six of the evenings we will include separate contests for the Color B Digital (Beginner), Color A Digital (Advanced), Color Salon Digital and Open Mind Digital. On six other evenings we will include separate contests for B&W Digital and Theme Digital contests. Two entries will be allowed in each of the categories per evening per member. Note that the theme for each theme contest only applies to the theme contest that evening and does not apply to all the other contests.

A WPS group exhibition is a showcase that represents the quality of our members' photography. Our pictures are presented in numerous exhibit venues including libraries, hospitals, and showcases in and around Westchester County. Usually seen by hundreds of people, it makes the lives of the attendees a little brighter as they peruse our pictures. In addition, our exhibit receptions are usually attended by a large group of people giving our members a chance to show their work to their family and friends. Finally, we sometimes get sales of our pictures.

The Westchester Photographic Society generally meets every Friday evening throughout the year with the exception of major holiday weekends. The meetings feature diversified programs such as talks by experts, workshops, demonstrations, model shoots, member showcases, critiques, and monthly competitions.
The Westchester Photographic Society sponsors field trips on roughly a monthly basis to locations that offer shooting opportunities for our members. Field trips may last several hours to several days, depending on the event and the distance involved.
